What I actually work with.
Everything listed here is something I've used on live client projects, not something I read about once. If a tool you need isn't here, ask — I'll tell you honestly whether I know it or would be learning on your time.

How I am
to work with.
Tools matter less than whether the project actually gets finished. A few things clients tend to mention:
I reply quickly — usually within a few hours, and I say when I can't. I write clear English, so you won't spend the project decoding what I meant. I'd rather tell you an idea won't work than build it quietly and hand you the bill.
And I test things properly before calling them done. A surprising amount of my work has been fixing sites another developer had already marked complete.
